wow wee more chimes tests it sounds kind of like a rhodes…
some testing of the instrument I made and sampled… just a bunch of tuned steel pipes on a wooden frame. This is the muted staccato articulation thingy
Alright, so the next instruments are:
The cello has several articulations and is sampled in stereo with 2x Round Robin, played by Kevin “Plattinum” Platt.
The tubenspiel is a homemade instrument made from different lengths of steel pipes cut to tune. It has multiple articulations and 4x round robin.

wip of the plucked piano Kontakt Patch I’m making… a few more octaves to go u_u
Working on a supersaw bank patch for Kontakt. I’m still adding samples from various sources, but as of now I have 5 different sounding pads and leads. My favourite is the Trance Saw I, with ~50 unison voices.
These are straight from FM8 and Massive with effects processing, but if you try to play 6 notes in a chord with 50 unisons, that’s going to be 300 notes (FM8 only handles 60) and your processing usage will go through the roof. So this patch will make things much more manageable.
Also, I’ve made a separate blog for all my music stuff @ senntenial.tumblr.com
Many of you may recall the name “NeonStorm” (Chris) - perhaps you’ve found some of his productions on your own accord, or maybe you remember that he was one of the Judges for the community album “Soft Spectrum,” (perpetuated by myself.)
I’m unsure if you know the personal details on Chris and me, but he is perhaps my first and best friend who actually introduced me into the world of production.
After 5 or 6 years of production, we’ve certainly gone our separate ways in terms of style; I prefer more mainstream genres such as House and Dubstep, while Chris tends to lean towards Chill, experimental electronica, and pure orchestrations.
So enough of the boring shit you probably didn’t read anyway, and on to some interesting bits. NeonStorm just released his first ever album after producing for six-some years, so you can bet your first born to Satan that it will be fucking great. If you like really intricate auditory works of compositional elegance, I’d recommend a listen. If you like really obnoxious and repetitive pop songs, I’d recommend this too because its about time you listen to something that isn’t complete shit. Instead of “you a stupid ho,” try something that will encourage your brain to not shrivel and die, with the added bonus of not driving those who have to listen to Niki jump from high buildings.
But really, give it a try. Even if this isn’t your cup of tea, it’s most likely a tasty cup of coffee.
